The group Slum Village contains 3 members Jay Dee, Baatin and T3. The trio of rappers all grew up together in the same neighbor hood as well as the same high school in Detroit, Michigan. The group recorded there First album Fan-Tas-Tic Vol.1 in 1996 but did’t release it until 2005.They had much success throughout there Slum Village journey until Jay Dee Left the group to pursue his solo artist career. Baatin stayed a member of the group until he started having health issues that made him unable to be apart of slum village. T3 was the only original member of the trio that blasted off the neighbor hood of Conant Gardens in Detroit. Elzhi was the new edition that kept the group standing with T3. Since then Slum Village has released 6 albums all in all and still today is releasing music to the hip-hop world.
